Cookies & Privacy
The short version: we don't use tracking or advertising cookies. Here's exactly what Quires stores, what it's for, and who else your data touches when you use this site.
What we store on your device
This site doesn't set tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. The only
things saved to your browser are two small preferences, stored locally
(localStorage,
not a cookie) and never sent to our servers:
Both are what's usually called "strictly necessary" storage — they only exist because you actively asked for that preference, and under UK/EU rules that kind of storage doesn't require a consent banner. You can clear them any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain; the site works identically either way, it'll just re-ask your system for a default.
The waitlist form
When you join the waitlist, your email address (and which plan you were looking at) is sent directly to Brevo, our email service provider, so we can email you when Quires launches. That's the only thing that happens with it — no cookie or tracker is set on your browser by this, since the request goes from our server to Brevo, not from a script running on this page. See Brevo's privacy policy for how they handle it, and every email from us includes an unsubscribe link.
Payment, once Quires launches
When checkout goes live, payment is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. Stripe's checkout page sets its own cookies for fraud prevention and to process your payment securely; these are set by Stripe, not by us, and are generally considered "strictly necessary" for completing a purchase you've initiated. See Stripe's privacy policy for details.
What we don't do
- No analytics or advertising cookies
- No third-party trackers, pixels, or fingerprinting
- No selling or sharing your data with anyone outside Brevo and Stripe, doing the jobs described above
- No fonts, embeds, or scripts loaded from third-party CDNs — everything on this site is self-hosted
